Hi guys,

We purchased a house in November which has come with a small triangular spa pool which we want to get up and running. We have all the chemicals etc but we have no idea how many litres our spa is, how could we work this out !

Thanks !

Is it empty still! If not, read your water meter before you fill it and again afterwards. Subtract first reading from second to get amount.

That is very clever.

I have a Leisurerite corner spa, older model no longer being produced. Can't find the specs, but I believe it holds about 500 litres.

You can also calculate ; http://www.pumpsandspares.com/. Look under Rate Calculators. This is for a rectangle pool, so divide the litres by 2.

A 2 m2 pool holds about 1000 litres. I'd think a small triangle pool would hold 400 litres.

That would be if the pool was 10 inches deep midsta - the first pool you describe I mean

A cubic metre is 1,000 litres .if that helps.

Can you google make and model of spa, that will give you all the specs, could be that the info is inside of spa that houses pump etc

Ok weird. I was told our 2m x 2m x .94 spa holds approx 1000 litres. Never thought that was correct. More like just under 4000 litres eh
