I have 2xmature Astelia which I want removed from where they are. Can I transplant them, divide them!

yes they transplant and devide easely, have you got water for them!

Yes I have, thankyou. Do I need to chop the leaves short as I've seen with some spear leaves!

Best to just replant the outside babys with 5 leaves or so and discard the centre. . Unless the plant is not very big. Don,t cut the leaves.

Sorry to highjack the thread! My fairly young silver spears are barely silver any more - going quite yellow. This started occurring long before the drought conditions.Someone suggested epsom salts. Any other ideas! Thanks.
