Ripcord works good here.

Agree ,safe to apply but use a mask and goggles ,OK for inside too on window sills and behind furniture ,spray lightly.
Outside use double strength for 6 months control.Do the house foundations to stop migrating insects ,ants ,earwigs slaters etc.

I use Kiwicare ???No Spiders??

The kiwicare range of products , no flies, no spiders, no crawling insects etc. are basically the same ingredients but slightly different strengths. Read the labels and go for the most bang for your buck.
Ripcord works well also, but is available in fewer stores these days, try farm orientated stores for this product

How could it be safe to apply if you need a mask and goggles.

I used a Rawleighs (sp) one for the first time this year (previously I used Ripcord) - it was much easier to apply (no mask etc) and works really well.I'll be using it again at the beginning of next summer - assuming this summer ever ends of course!

The Rawleighs product uses a synthetic pyrethrum called Permethrin which is similar to the Cypermethrin used in Ripcord. I'd treat both the same as far as precautions go.

You can also use 2 drops of "Lemon Oil" on the broom (covered with old pantyhose or suchlike) and sweep that around the house.
