Do stocks come away again after the dead flowers have been removed! Not sure if I'm noticing new flower formation on ones I was just about to pull out.

They grow new but smaller side spikes if you cut the old flowering spike off.

Thank youthen I won't pull them out.

They won't last much longer anyway, so it's worth planning what to replace them with now.

If you grow Brompton Stocks they are a biennial one.Get rather tall though but can get a nice mix of doubles and singles.Lovely perfume. I cut them back often andthey flower for ages.Nice for picking. Third yearflowering now.
