Have a huge rhubard plant, that is all green stalks. when do they go red, this time of year or later. It does not get much sun, is in a tub, and truely very large with lots of stalks on it.thanks

mine also is quite green yet at other times its really red so I don`t know. Still tastes great & even gave a pink tinge to my rhubarb champagne!

Sorry, Korbo. it is probably a green variety. If it has lots of stalks on it, use them before it goes to seed. Leave a couple of the inner stalks so you don't kill the plant.

Just stew them up and add a few drops of red food colouring to bring out the pink colour, the green stalks have more flavour anyway

I have both the green and red rhubarb, they are just different varieties.
