Anyone have heaps of old newspapers they want to get rid of or know where we can get them from. We need them for putting around plants before mulching on top. Preferable west Auckland if possible, thanks

When we did our gardens we went to dairys, local newspaper, friends saved them and we ended up with so much which was good because you need to lay it pretty thick. Good luck.

Flattened cardboard boxes are better.

Ask your local service (gas) station to keep the unsold papers for you to collect. They are free as the station removes (cuts) the date off the papers and sends those back to the supplier for credit, leaving them with the problem of having to dispose of the unsold newspapers.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
