Bought the front load soap powder instead of the top load soap powder. Is it still okay to use in the top load machine?

Yes, from what I understand you will just have less suds. Not ok to use top loader in front loader though, too many suds
just found this from Persil "the main difference is that front load washing powder is low suds. You can use front load washing powder in a top load, but it??

Koru is correct! Front for all machines, top ONLY for top. In Australia a lot of the apartments for holiday rentals have big signs on the washing machines telling you to use front loader powder only, even if they are top loader machines. Some say that if you use top loader powder and the machine breaks down you will be charged for the repairs! Dont know if the water pressure in their apartments is stronger and causes excessive sudsing or what, but we now only buy front load powder because it can be used in all machines.

Have front loader, had to switch to liquid as not enough water through dispenser to dissolve powder properly, even though it was for front loaders.
