Got a concrete path running along where we want to put a row of posts down, can we just bracket these posts onto the path, maybe on top of a piece of timber then attacth with a bracket ? Thanks,,,,

The quality of the supports will be up to the standard of the garden path. Either break up say a 300x300 square in the concrete,dig down into mother earth and either concrete your h5 posts into the ground or set up galvanised brackets in the concrete to hold the posts. if a building inspector is involved he won't accept the quality of an unknown path.

If the deck is not that far off the ground who cares?
