Can anyone please tell me, when is a good time to sow grass seeds and does anyone have any good advice about how to do it!

I did some work at a turf farm and they said Autumn is the best because the grass has a good change to get established before the spring weeds start seeding but you can sew in spring as well. Other than that feed it well.

Yes, agree Autumn or spring best for many reasons. Less weed seed to germinate in your lawn, and certainly far easier to keep moisture levels up so the seeds germinate properly. Both seasons are far more friendly to fast germination and growth as well.
